Tibetan Homes School Visit

This is a post about our visit to the Tibetan Homes School last week. We're a bit behind in sharing with you all the things we've done, so some of these posts will not be in chronological order.

After visiting the Hanifl center, we headed down the mountain to visit the Tibetan Homes School. The school provides a free education to orphaned and destitute, and semi destitute children of Tibetan refugees. The foundation which supports the school was established in exile by the His Holiness the XIV Dalai Lama.

We received a tour of the school and students had the opportunity to interact with students in grades ranging from 8-12th grade. The students had conversations about hobbies, school subjects, favorites and social media.
